Flowers in World Botanical Garden

This is an Ixora. With a name like that, it has to be beautiful . As I remember this flower it was more salmon than it appears in this picture. I tried to grow an Ixora once here in Alabama, only to find that it cannot withstand any frost.

This is a relative of our milk and wine lily. It is wonderfully fragrant and these are frequently seen in landscaping.






 

 

I believe this is  a Clerodendron. it's different from the ones I am familiar with but it has the characteristic flowers of a Clerodendron.
